HSEQ · QHSE · IMS

One integrated system for health, safety, environment and quality.

HSEQ, QHSE and IMS all describe the same thing: one integrated management system covering quality, work health and safety, and environment. This is that system, written by AI for an Australian small business, and then actually run.

What HSEQ means here

An integrated management system means the quality, safety and environmental sides share one document register, one CAPA log, one internal audit and one management review, instead of three separate folders that contradict each other. In practice that is ISO 9001:2015 for quality, ISO 45001:2018 for health and safety, and ISO 14001:2015 for environment. All three start on. You can untick 14001 if environment is not in scope.

What is in the system

Controlled policies with version, owner, review date and draft versus issued. Registers for hazards, incidents and near misses, hazardous chemicals and SDS, training and tickets with expiry, evidence, and corrective actions. Internal audit scored against the clauses you selected, plus management review built from live data. Ask answers from your own issued policies.

How this compares to other tools

Type of toolWhat it is built forWhere it stops
Inspection and checklist appsSite walks, forms, photos and audits on a phoneGreat on site. They do not write your documented management system.
Enterprise QHSE / IMS platformsConfigurable modules for larger teams with a system already writtenPowerful, but scoped and priced for organisations with a QHSE manager.
ISO consultantsA person writes the manual, then leavesThorough and expensive, and the system goes stale after they go.
ThisWrites the documented IMS, then runs the registers behind itFor a small Australian business that just got asked for one.

These categories are not mutually exclusive. Plenty of businesses keep an inspection app for site checks and use this for the documented system underneath it.

Who it suits

Australian small businesses in cleaning, trades, field services, civil and light manufacturing, typically 1 to 50 people, who were asked for a WHS system, a prequal pack or an ISO-aligned IMS and do not have a QHSE manager to build one.

We are not a certification body. A JAS-ANZ accredited body still audits and issues any certificate.
