WHS policy · OHS in Victoria

A WHS policy for your business, not a blank Word file.

Owners searching for a WHS policy template usually need a signed, controlled policy they can send a client this week. In Victoria that document is an OHS policy. PolicySystem writes it for your legal name, states and work, then keeps version, owner and review date on the live copy.

What you actually get

A live WHS policy (OHS when Victoria is in scope) with document control: version, owner, review date, and draft versus issued. AI writes it from the business you describe. You approve it, export a PDF, and send that. It is not a downloadable Word farm of generic clauses for you to fill in on a Sunday night.

Victoria is OHS

The Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 is the Victorian statute. Clients and WorkSafe Victoria will say OHS, not WHS. If you work only in Victoria, the policy should say OHS. If you also work in NSW, Queensland or elsewhere, it should name both. The jurisdictions come from the states you tick at setup.

What this is not

This is not a site WHS plan, not SWMS, not inspections and not a workers compensation form. A client who asks for "your WHS policy" wants the company-wide statement plus the system behind it: induction, registers and evidence. The policy is the front page, not the whole pack.
